Debbie Carter

Deborah Gayle Carter, 69 years old, of Mathis, Texas, passed away on December 31, 2022 in Corpus Christi, TX.

Debbie was born in Wayne County, Indiana to William (Bill) Creacy and Phyllis (Hoback) Jaschke on September 14, 1953. She went to school in Alice, Tx. She was married to Albert Fox of Corpus Christi, TX for many years, then was divorced and later married Dennis Carter of Oklahoma. She graduated the Registered Nursing program in Oklahoma, City Oklahoma. Debbie worked as an RN in multiple hospitals in Moore, Oklahoma, then in Corpus Christi, TX. For the last 12 years of her Nursing career, she worked as a Service Coordinator for United Health Care Star Plus Waiver. She was a member of Calallen Baptist Church.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Bill Creacy and Phyllis Jaschke; her sister, Brenda Holt; and her brother, James (Pat) Creacy.

Debbie is survived by her sons, Albert Fox Jr. and Marcus Fox (LT); daughter, Crystal Carter and grandsons, Carter Villalobos and Josiah Villalobos; her brothers, Mike Creacy (Pam) and David Creacy (Connie) of Mathis, Tx and John Creacy of Kerrville, Tx; sisters, Cindy Frazier (Stafford) of Mathis, Tx and Becky Rendon (Alfredo) of Kerrville, Tx, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be on Friday, January 6, 2023, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Calallen Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. The funeral service will be conducted after the viewing at 2:00 pm at Calallen Baptist Church with Bro. Jack Willoughby of First Baptist Church of Kingsville officiating.

Burial will be on Saturday January 7, 2023 at 10:00am at Seaside Memorial Park located at 4357 Ocean Dr. Corpus Christi, TX.
