Deborah Meyer

January 7, 1980 — September 11, 2020

Corpus Christi

Deborah (Debbie) Lynn Meyer was called home for eternal rest on Friday ,September 11th, 2020. She was born on January 7th, 1980 to Bill Meyer and Rosanne Arnault in Bridgeport Connecticut. She moved briefly thereafter to Houston and then to Corpus Christi which she called home the majority of her life. She met the love of her life Kenny Groom her senior year and graduated from Calallen high school in 1998. She had a passionate deep love for animals and attended Texas AM in College Station for one semester with a desire to become a veterinarian like so many. She excelled at craft making for birthdays and holidays and seldom missed any and could touch your heart by making the most out of nothing. In the early years she would find ways to make ends meet when money was tight. Her mother once said she could sell ice to an Eskimo she was so convincing. She was deeply saddened recently with the diagnosis of her mother with terminal cancer which weighed deeply on her mind, body and soul.. Knowing her she's probably already trying to convince Saint Peter to give her mother a second chance at life and let her take her place for now.

Debbie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Emile Arnault and Josephine Camp, paternal grandparents David and Edna Meyer

She is survived by the love of her life Kenny Groom, son Jacob Groom, daughters Jessica, Madison and Macy Groom, her parents Bill and Rosanne, sister Beverly Meyer, brothers Billy (Jen) Meyer and Brian Meyer Also her father and mother-in-law Kerwin and Carolyn Groom, brother-in-laws Kevin Groom, Kelly (Jacalyn) Groom and Kyle (Renee) Groom and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Time may pass and the sorrow may fade, but the love you gave us will remain in our hearts.
