Dennis Norskow

Dennis Norskow, an auto mechanic and life long resident of Corpus Christi, passed from this life on June 21, 2020 at the age of 60.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Norskow; nephew, Bryan Miller and his brother, Kenneth Williams.

Dennis is survived by his father, Clinton Norskow of Corpus Christi; his brother, Ron (Karen) Norskow of Corpus Christi and his sister, Cindy Miller (Dale Hardesty) of Houston. Also surviving Dennis is a sister-in-law, Claudie Williams of Lubbock; a special brother-in-law, Tommy Miller, of Mathis and a very dear friend he considered his best friend, Michelle Floyd Zitnik of Aurora, Colorado.

He was loved by his nieces and nephews; Shawnda (Chance) Locknane of Lubbock, Jeremy Williams of Sparta, Wisconsin; Kevin (Anna) Miller of Frisco, TX; Patrick (Krystelle) Norskow; Jeffery Norskow; Kelli (Tyler) Hurt; and Samantha Norskow all of Corpus Christi and several great nieces and nephews.

Dennis graduated from Tuloso-Midway in 1979. After graduation, he went to work at White’s Auto in Annaville as a mechanic. White’s eventually became Western Auto. He spent the next 20 years working there until he lost his eyesight due to complications from Diabetes.

He was a member of Tuloso-Midway Baptist Church.

Dennis will be remembered for his positive attitude towards life despite his disabilities.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to River Ridge Nursing & Rehabilitation.

Dennis’ family would like to thank the employees of River Ridge for the love and care they afforded him during his stay at their facility.
