Dorothy went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 28, 2020. She was born on May 26, 1931 to Lizzie and Clyde Howard in Davison OK.

She was preceded in death by Frank Manson Parks, husband, E.M. Alexander, husband, Brenda Geffert, Daughter, Pat Kotara and Mike Weaver, son in laws, Chase Menn, great grandson, Wyatt Gill, great grandson, Rodney Alexander, extended son, Susan Alexander, extended daughter n law, two Brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by 4 daughters Linda Kotara, Donna Siegel, Pam (Rick) Grothe and Billie Jo Weaver and Wayne Geffert, son n law. Three extended sons Gary Alexander, Danny (Linda) Alexander, Kevin (Theresa) Alexander. Also, 19 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

She went to Bynum High School and was the star of the basketball team. Then went on to play amateur basketball in Houston and was rated one of the best centers.  She was married to Frank Parks for 26 years she raised 5 daughters and helped with the family business. They loved to travel and see the world. After his passing she married E. M. (Dude) Alexander and added to the family 4 boys. They were married for 30 years and enjoyed their retirement at Lake Mathis and then later moved back to the Calallen area and then to Houston where Dude passed and she returned to Odem to live until her passing.

She was always the life of the party and everyone she met was touched by her gentle loving soul. She lived her life to the fullest and was always happy. She enjoyed road trips with her family and going to concerts. One of her best concerts was Tanya Tucker where she was serenaded by her and even sang a little with her. She also loved playing and visiting with her grandchildren. She was known for her famous Banana Pudding.

Her last reminder to all was “Be Sweet”.
