James Veselka

James Morgan Veselka, 63 of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away November 25, 2020 in a local hospital.

James was raised in Robstown, Texas, Graduating from Robstown High School in 1975. As an adult he lived in Corpus Christi, Texas with his wife, Rebecca Morris Veselka. James worked for Downing Wellhead Services as a Service Tech. and Administration Tech. for 24 ½ years.

James loved many things like fishing, traveling, playing guitar, country music, Waltz dancing and especially being a dedicated Kansas City Chief fan.

James is preceded in death by his infant sister, Carol Veselka.

He is survived by his loving wife of many years, Rebecca Veselka; son, James Ryan Veselka; step-children, ReNita Kauffman, Loretta Woodward (Jeremy) and Otis Todd, Jr. (Victoria); grandsons, Michael James Woodward, Joshua Paul Woodward, Otis Nathaniel Todd, Victor Anthony Todd, David Kristopher Todd and Matthew Demei Urano; great- grandson, Isaiah Todd; sisters, Susan Dorow (John) and Karen Bridger (Chris); parents, Alvin James and Suzanne Veselka and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 3:00PM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas.
