Jeffery Lee Deer

1956 - 2021


Jeffery Lee Deer, 64, of Calallen, TX sadly passed away on July 5, 2021. Jeff was born to Jack and Marilee Deer on October 18, 1956. He was a graduate of Calallen High School and became a Journeyman Electrician. 

His family will remember him for his sense of humor. Jeff always had a story to tell or a witty joke to share. He had a big personality and was loved by everyone he met. Jeff was a loyal friend, brother, uncle, and Papa who will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marilee Deer; wife, LaJuan Deer, and brother Steve Deer.

Jeff is survived by his step son, Raymond Mathew Wilder; granddaughter, Mia Mae Crossland; brother, David Deer (Cheryl); niece, Angela Spinhirne (Lucas); nephews, Wesley Deer (Shelley) and Steven Deer; Uncle Larry Deer;  many cousins; 3 great nieces; 2 great nephews and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

I will always cherish the fun times we had as cousins growing up. Jeff was always kind, gentle and funny, with a loving heart. Rest In Peace, Jeff. We are praying for all of the family during these difficult days. May God comfort you in His loving arms and strengthen you by His mighty hand.
