Jim Cherry passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 85.
Jim lived most of his life in Corpus Christi and graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School. After serving in the United States Army, he worked for several oil refineries throughout his career retiring from Valero Refining.
Jim was married to Elizabeth for 47 years until her death in 2010.
Jim is survived by his children, Patricia Summers & husband, Micheal, Deborah Snow, and Stephen Cherry; and by 4 grandchildren, Micheal, Matthew, Quinlan, and Jackie.
The visitation will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home on April 21, 2022, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Tuloso-Midway Baptist Church on April 22, 2022, at 10:00am. Internment will follow at the Sinton cemetery in Sinton, Texas.
