Jimmy Wayne Haynie of Corpus Christi, Texas, was called to heaven on December 12, 2020. He was born in Raymondville, Texas on August 05, 1944 to Terrell Dean Haynie and Verna P. Haynie. Jim was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather.

Jim was a proud United States Air Force Veteran and a Vietnam Veteran as well. He served 4 and a half years active duty and was a US Air Force Reserve for two more years.

He worked in the Energy Industry for SWOR, Kerr-McGee, and BP for more than 35 years.

Jim loved to hunt, fish, and gamble. He was a jack of all trades. He could fix most anything. He loved to help family or friends whenever possible. He was a friend to many.

Jim is proceeded in death by his parents Terrell and Verna Haynie and brother-in-law Thomas C. Richards.

Jim leaves behind a loving family - his wife Sheryl (Faulkenberry) Haynie. His two children Patty (Jeff) Boltz and Michael (Xiomara) Haynie. Stepdaughters Shannan (Armando) Alvarado, and Courtney Albert. He is also survived by his sister Beverly (Tommy) Richards, and brother Robert (Jeanell) Haynie. He also has seven grandchildren Jeffery, Dylan, Chloe, Ethan, Nicole, Ashley and Ryan and many loved nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Armando Alvarado Jr., Jeffery Boltz Sr., Jeffery Boltz Jr., Roy Faulkenberry, James Heath, and Travis Richards

Honorary Pallbearers will be Ram Ramos and Jim Pemberton.

Services will be December 21, 2020, at 10:00 am at Corpus Christi Veterans Cemetery. A funeral Procession will start from the Sawyer George Funeral Home. All parties wishing to ride with the procession are asked to arrive at approximately 9:15 am. The procession will proceed shortly thereafter.
