Fred Kenneth Emshoff of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 19th after a brief illness. He was 86. Mr. Emshoff was born on June 24th, 1934 in Robstown, Tx to Fred and Hilda Emshoff. He was a life long member of St. John Lutheran church in Robstown, Texas.
He served in the United States Army from 1956 to 1958 and was stationed in Munich, Germany. He had many fond memories of his time in the army and travels throughout Europe. From 1963 until his retirement in 1998 he worked for Celanese Chemical Company. He remained an avid deer hunter, fisherman and farmer throughout his entire life. His greatest love was his family. Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister Peggy Jean Emshoff. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Regina Emshoff of Corpus Christi, Texas; his son Randy Emshoff (Heather) of Corpus Christi, Tx, daughters, Sharon Capeheart (Gary) of Corpus Christi, Tx, Shirley Gajdos (Kenneth) of Austin,Texas; his grandchildren Jason Capeheart, Bryant Gajdos, Allison Gajdos, Kinsley Emshoff and Kale Emshoff; his sister Dorcille Hornung (Albert) of Corpus Christi, Texas, his brother Keith Emshoff (Wilma) of Corpus Christi, Texas and numerous family members and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00PM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday, January, 22, 2021 at 2:00PM at St. John Lutheran Church in Robstown, Texas, with the Interment to follow at Old Robstown Cemetery in Robstown, Texas.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
