Lance Nelson Mack, age 54, passed away November 26th, 2020. He was born on January 4th, 1966 to Howard and Joe Ellen Mack in Aransas Pass, Texas where he grew up and graduated high school. He was preceded in death by his father Howard Mack. He was married to the love of his life Kimberly for 36 years.
Survivors include wife, Kimberly; mother, Joe Ellen; daughter, Lacey (Trey); son, Byron; grandson, Finley; brother, Lyle Scott (Beatrice); sister, Lori (Kenneth) and numerous nieces, nephews and people that loved him.
The majority of his career was spent in the construction industry as a crane operator and as Operations Manager for the Corpus Christi branch of TNT Crane and Rigging for 22 years. My dad was never short on jokes and if you knew him there is a good chance that you were the victim of one of his pranks. His sense of humor was one of his greatest qualities and will be sorely missed. His many hobbies included fishing, golf, BBQing, going to concerts, and just having a good time (there are a few neighborhood New Year's parties he threw that will never be topped). He loved Vegas, red wine, cigars, good food and crocs. His absolute favorite thing to do was travel with my mom. A few of their destinations included Anguilla, Alaska, Italy, and plenty of island beaches (and tiki bars) along the way. His charitable endeavors included participating in the Halo-Flight Charity Golf Tournaments and he loved shopping for donations to Toys for Tots.
Visitation will be held Wednesday December 2nd from 6-8pm at Sawyer George Funeral Home in Calallen. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3rd at 1pm at Sawyer George Funeral Home in Calallen with graveside service following at Palms Memorial Garden Cemetery in Portland TX.
