Laura Ann Cox Snelling went to be with Lord on September 18, 2021 surround by her family at a local hospital. She was a loving wife, mother and Ma-Maw to her grandchildren.

She was born on April 2, 1968 to her parents Gaudy Milton Cox and Alice Faye Cox in Corpus Christi, Texas. Laura lived in Corpus Christi most of her life and attended Oak Park Elementary and Driscoll Junior High. She graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1986 were she was a member of the Journalist/Photography Team, Tennis Team and also sang in the Choir. After high school she continued with her passion to play tennis and developed a passion for playing kickball with her friends. She worked at several local banks in Corpus Christi before moving to Alice, Texas where she meet her husband. Her and her husband are members of the West Main Bapist Church in Alice, Texas.

Her and her family moved back to Corpus Christi and raised their youngest girls until they graduated from High School. After graduation her and her husband moved to Lake Corpus Christi so she could pursue her passion for fishing. She loved to teach her grandchildren to fish and take them for rides in her kayak as her grandchildren meant more to her than life it self.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Rean Knight Cox and Helen June Cox, Henry Woodrow Wilson Jones and Willie Faye Burns Jones. Her father Milton Gaudy Cox, sister – Debra Kay James, bother – Dean Buck Cox, uncle – Jerry Wilson Jones, cousin – Nina Ann, aunt – Radeon Cox Psenik.

She is survived by her husband Paul Edwin Snelling. Daughters – Natalie Nicole Snelling, Ashlan Victoria Smith (Daniel), Adriana Laura Garcia (Paul Chapa). Mother – Alice Faye Cox. Sisters – Linda Faye Perez, Lola Jean Brown McLaughlin, Sharon Bueno. Brother – Gaudy Lynn Cox. Grandchildren – Joel Garcia, Addilyn Smith and one granddaughter due in December. A special cousin – Nancy Ann Moore. Along with many other uncles, aunts, cousin, nephews and nieces. She also has many beloved friends, to many to list.

Services will be held at Sawyer – George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi Texas at 10:00 am Thursday the 23rd. Burial following at Sinton Cemetery in Sinton, Texas.
