Monte Dale Graham, 57, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away March 25th at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX, from a massive stroke. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend and will be forever missed.

Monte was born in Kermit, TX, to J.W. “Dub” and Gayle Graham. The family settled in Corpus Christi in 1979 where Monte attended and graduated from Tuloso-Midway high school. During his years at T-M he made many cherished friendships, played some fantastic football, and created many, many wonderful memories.

In 2011 he finally listened to his sister, Ka-Lynn Graham, and married her best friend, Audrey Lynn Dobbins. She was the love of his life and they made a beautiful life together, combining their families. They were so in love.

At the time of his death, Monte worked for Leak Tech. He had been with this company for numerous years and genuinely loved what he did and was immensely proud of his work. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to the beach, which was his favorite place to be.

Monte is preceded in death by his mother, Gayle Graham, and father J.W. “Dub” Graham. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Audrey Lynn; son, C. Dylan Graham; daughter, Monica R. Boone; stepdaughter, Leslie C. Dryer, stepdaughter, Meagan N. (Patrick) O’Brien; stepson, Tyler D Whitmire; 1 sister, Ka-Lynn Graham; 2 nephews, Paul W. “Bo” Powers and John A. “Trey” Minter; 3 grandchildren Keitlynn D. Custer, Camden M. and Zoe N. O’Brien, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, at Sawyer-George Funeral Home at 2:00p.m. Following the services, the family would like to invite everyone to a Celebration of Life at the home of Monte & Audrey’s house.
