Nina Ann Riebschleager

Nina A Riebschleager, 82 passed away peacefully at home on June 13, 2022. She was born on January 13, to Charlie and Ruby Thomas in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy.

She and Harley grew up in the same neighborhood and were married for 63 years. She worked many years in the school cafeteria at Driscoll Jr High in Corpus Christi and began working at Dave Odem Elementary after moving to Sinton Tx in 1984. She retired in 2002 and returned to being a housewife. She loved working in her yard, fishing, and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ruby Thomas, her brothers Rufus and Billy Thomas, and her niece/namesake, Nina Ann Thomas. She is survived by her loving husband, Harley, her son, Weldon Riebschleager (Valerie), and two daughters Cathy Greenall (Harry), Karen Ragan, and her nephew/son, Billy Thomas.

She is survived by 5 grandchildren, Nicole Eller (Don), Bullet Riebschleager (Kendra), Katherine Ragan (Eric), Brenna Greenall and Hannah Greenall, and 7 great-grandchildren, Landon and Lia Eller, Bethany, Anabel, Rebecca and Solon Riebschleager, and Elaina Perez.

Visitation will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home on Friday, June 17, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Robstown on Saturday, June 18, 2022 with the rosary recited at 9:30 am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am

Fr. Philip Panackal, pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will follow at Sinton Cemetery in Sinton Tx.
