Peggy Knesek

Peggy Louise Rektorik Knesek, 90, peacefully passed away at a Calallen Nursing Home on January 19, 2021. Peggy was born on September 8, 1930 to Jaro and Agnes Rektorik. She graduated from Robstown High School. She grew up and loved living on the farm and met and married her husband of 71 years, John Knesek.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Archie Rektorik and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is survived by her husband, John Knesek; her brother, Herbert Rektorik; her children, Jerry Knesek, Marilyn Landmon, Mike (Sylvia) Knesek, Alan (Marlene) Knesek, Cathy (Kent) Myers and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 from 5:00PM-6:00PM with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00PM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 at 10:00AM at St. John’s Catholic Church in Robstown, Texas. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery at 1:00PM.
