A simply wonderful man, Bob Morgan, born on October 23, 1957 went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 18, 2020. Bob, more sincerely known as Daddy, Papa Bob, Santa Bob, Beautiful Bob and Captain Bob, among others, was a kind and generous man that filled any room he entered with love and laughter. He never hid his smile and his laugh was infectious. He enjoyed sharing photos of sunsets and countryside from his trips and his boat. His biggest passion was for his family, friends and dogs. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, spending time with those he loved, making pancake breakfasts with his grandkids, Bloody Marys with his buddies and Stephen King novels. He enjoyed the simple things in life like photography, boating, last-minute casino trips, backyard BBQs and going for a motorcycle ride without a destination. Bob was a patriot and enjoyed learning about history. As Captain of the M/V Tim Scott, and many other vessels, he served 16 years navigating the ports of the country for Blessey Marine Services. He was well respected in the tow-boating industry for his tenure as Towboat Captain Bob Morgan. He is loved and will be missed by all that knew him.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents John and Jane Morgan, and his son Jacob Morgan. Bob is survived by his son Jimmy, Amanda, Morgan, and Sullivan Stewart, his daughter Julianne Morgan and Jarret Cruz, his granddaughters, Emily, Kamryn, and Ava Morgan. His two biological sisters Deborah Whitmire and Cathy Peal and their children. And several other non-biological brothers and sisters including Larry and Paulette Hoeber, Chris and Rose Snider, Lisa Wilkerson and his Annavillian brothers and sisters.
