Roy “Okie” Mack Crossland, 91, of Robstown, TX passed away on May 12, 2022. He was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on February 10, 1931, to Richard Mack Crossland and Jenny Clay Crossland. He was a proud tribal member of the Cherokee Indian Nation.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Richard Rome Crossland and Thomas Mack Crossland; his sisters, Marie Crossland Hobdy, Margaret Cecile Crossland, Mary E. Crossland Nevitt; and his grandson, TJ Smith.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer Crossland; brother, John (Betty) Crossland; sisters, Barbara Crossland Richard and Kathryn Crossland Palmer; son, Rick (Cathy) Crossland; his daughter, Pam (Mark) Raska; step-son, Randall Green; and step-daughter, Caimy (Michael) Harbison; grandchildren, Richard Crossland, Amy Crossland, Shawna (Jesse) Tatum; step-grandchildren, Tim (Lillie) Raska, Karah (Brett) Heinrich, Aaron Harbison, and Adam Harbison; great-grandchildren, Emily Morgan, Kami Morgan, Jesse Tatum V, Elizabeth Smith, Emmalyn Heinrich; step-great grandchildren, Dylan Raska, Dakota Raska, Sterling Raska and Sadie Raska and one step-great great grandchild, Tucker Raska.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 1:00 PM -2:00 PM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home with the memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM also at Sawyer-George Funeral Home.
