Linnie Jones

Linnie (Cole) Jones of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away on July 21, 2021 at the age of 99. She was born on September 26, 1921 near Georgetown, Texas. She has been a member of the Corpus Christi Primitive Baptist Church for many years. Linnie is preceded in death by her husband, John W. Jones, her daughter and sonin-law, Brenda (Jones) McGee and Ted McGee, her parents, Sam and Melinda Cole, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. She is survived by five sons, John Kenneth (Gatha) Jones, Bill (Anita) Jones, Sam (JoGayle) Jones, Ray Jones, Jim Jones, 12 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend special thanks to Devoted Healthcare & Hospice Services and Brenda Myers for the loving care they provided our Mother during her final days. Graveside services for Linnie will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery, 4607 FM 1889, Robstown, Texas on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at 11 am.
