Luther Robb

August 7, 1959 — April 20, 2021

Robstown

Luther John Robb passed away  at his home in Robstown, Texas that he shared with his wife and youngest son. He was born in Pierre, South Dakota to Richard Alvan Robb and Betty Lynn Robb (Wells).

Luther graduated from Tuloso-Midway High School in 1979, the same year of his motorcycle accident. After graduation and recuperating from his motorcycle accident, Luther worked as a boilermaker for the various oil refineries. Later in life he discovered his newfound hobby of scrapping metal and became a collector of many unusual items. Luther has always been a hard-working man and did not like just idly sitting around. He loved riding his 1968 shovelhead Harley Davidson Motorcycle, as it was his pride and joy. Friends had always been very important to Luther and he had many in his life. There was never any place in Corpus Christi that you could go to that there was not somebody that knew Luther. There was just that magical something he had inside him that had others drawn to him. He even had an elderly lady that would bring him a dozen glazed donuts every Sunday to the car wash in town. Most of the time Luther was a man of few words except for when he started telling stories from what he called “the good old days”. He was definitely a kind, generous and good-hearted man. If someone ever needed help with anything, he would always be there no matter where or what time. Luther and his family attended the Church of Hope where they found guidance and support in their lives as well as spiritual fulfillment.

Luther is preceded in death by his father, Richard Alvan Robb; brother, Richard “Runt” Larry Robb; grandfather, Ernest Robb; grandmother, Martha Ophellia Sisson; step-grandfather, Sherman Sisson; grandfather, Sherman Wells and grandmother, Louise Wells. Luther is also preceded in death by some of his best and closest friends whom he enjoyed riding his motorcycle with; Robert Snow, Sammy Mora, Robert Brooks and Bandido Nomad Charles “HaHa” David Gillies.

He is survived by his wife of 19 1/2 years, Cynthia (Cindi) Easley-Robb; their autistic son, Sherman A. Easley-Robb; oldest son, Ryan Robb (Audra); middle son, Taylor Robb; daughter, Tia Robb (Adam); stepdaughters, Sheilah Mahtob Behmanesh-Easley and Sarah Mahnaz Behmanesh-Easley; step granddaughter, Reihaneh; step grandson, Mohsen; soon to be born granddaughter, Charlotte; mother, Betty Fisher; sisters, Martha Yzaguirre (Hector), Susie Horman (Jim), Jenifer Boever (Tommy); nephews, Mario and Mike Yzaguirre, Brooks Horman and Geoffery Robb; Nieces, Camille and Jamie Horman; aunt, Carolyn Dearman; cousins, Wanda, Becky-Dale and Tracy Dearman and ex-wife, Rebecca Robb.

Not only were Hector, Jim and Tommy his brother-in-laws, they were some of his closest and best friends in his life.

Luther was loved so much by so many and will be forever missed. RIP MY LOVE.
