Madden, Ted

Ted Ray Madden, 74, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Friday, April 20, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness.  He was born August 3, 1943 in Red Oak, Oklahoma to the late Bernie M. and Doris Rose Riley Madden.  Mr. Madden was retired from the oilfield where he had worked his entire adult life.  He was a member and former Deacon of Annaville Baptist Church.  Ted enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles and swapping stories over coffee with his many friends at several area restaurants almost every morning.

He is survived by his wife of almost 54 years, Linda Madden; his daughter, Kim (Gilbert) Medrano; his son, Larry (Gina) Madden; three brothers, Jimmie (Ann) Madden, Raymond Madden and David (Mimi) Madden; seven grandchildren, Aiden and Mason Medrano, Bridgette, Cody, Sonia, Morgan and Leann Madden; five great grandchildren; numerous friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00P.M. Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Hebron Baptist Church near Yoakum, Texas. Burial will follow in the Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home in Yoakum, Texas.
